Dr. Hiroko Shibanai devotes herself in education of pet owners and animal assisted activities for children, disabled and aged people. Her frequent appearance in broadcast programs and numerous publications are well recognized by the society. She leads animal assisted activities in Japan through Companion Animal Partnership Program (CAPP) of Japanese Animal Hospital Association (JAHA). These activities are known to promote both mental and physical health of aged and disabled people and the program is approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Dr. Takuo Ishida is well known for his activities in education of both veterinarians and pet owners. He lectures all over Japan and he has numerous publications for professionals and pet lovers. He takes a leadership in a number of different academic societies.

The Hospital encourages its staff participating in the volunteer activities as well as in continuing education. Many of the clients are also engaged in CAPP with their pets.
