Hospital in 1963. Pioneered JAHA's Companion Animal Partnership Program,

and aged people with animals. Specialty includes orthopedic and soft
tissue surgery. |

and has spent 3 years in a University to develop specialty in clinical
pathology and internal medicine. Joined Akasaka Animal Hospital in
1993. Specialty includes general internal medicine and behavior therapy,
and obedience/behavior counseling available with appointment. |

Received PhD from University of Tokyo in 1981, spent
3 years in University of California, Davis as a postdoctoral research
fellow, and 12 years at a veterinary school as associate professor
of clinical pathology before joining the hospital in 1998. Specialty
includes feline medicine, cancer medicine, infectious, hematologic
and immunologic diseases as well as internal medicine. |

We have 9 other veterinarians, 11 veterinary
technicians, 4 grooming specialists, and 3 receptionists. In addition
to the in-hospital staff, we regularly consult with or invite noted
specialists in veterinary schools in selected areas including radiology,
cardiology, dentistry, ophthalmology and exotic pet medicine. |
